Copley Wolff is assisting in the design of the pedestrian environment and public spaces within this new mixed use development
that will consist of retail, residential, office, and
lab space.

Through an intense community process, a cohesive program of a thoughtfully designed,
bike friendly streets and public spaces was developed to engage visitors and reflect the unique character of the Allston neighborhood.

Copley Wolff’s scope includes the streetscape, roof top amenity spaces, a Community Green, dog park, and connections to the MBTA Commuter Rail train station. The streetscape is includes a wide permeable paver furnishing strip with stone seats and raised planters, a sidewalk level cycle track, information pylons for community announcements, areas for bike sharing programs, outdoor retail and dining spaces, trees and plantings, and connections to the retail components of the new development and adjacent neighborhood.

The Community Green, sited at the threshold of Boston Landing and Allston Yards, will be open to residents as well as the Allston and Brighton community. The public Green will support art, food and music venues, bring people together, and act as a transition to the MBTA station.
