Baxter Park Playground

Copley Wolff Design Group managed the planning and design of the 11-acre riverfront park adjacent to the new Assembly Row development. The large playground, located on the eastern end of the park and positioned into the side of a small hill, contains a large climbing and slide feature, an elevated universally accessible spinning structure, a tunnel slide, several stepping and swaying elements, and a universally accessible music play feature.
A local artist was commissioned to create a large bronze turtle sculpture and three bronze frogs that function as an area for water play.
