The goal of the building’s rebranding was to create a highly visible entry that connects to an inviting pedestrian-oriented public realm. Copley Wolff was responsible for the site design including the main entry, streetscape, outdoor dining and seating areas, and courtyard enhancements.
The renovated entry plaza is viewed as an extension of the newly rebranded lobby. The streetscape design incorporates linear brick paving patterns, planting, and furnishing layouts that unify the adjacent BioMed buildings into a more cohesive campus character. The plantings provide a buffer between the street sidewalk and seating/gathering spaces.
