Copley Wolff Design Group worked with the City of Concord's Recreation and Parks Advisory Committee, under the supervision of the City's Planning Department, to develop master plans for four community parks (White, Rollins, Merrill, and Garrison). These master plans address current and future needs of residents in the adjacent communities, responding to the changing demographics of the neighborhood population.
Through a series of meetings with City officials and public presentations,
a consensus plan evolved for each of these parks. A master plan report was
written that described the proposed site improvements for each of the consensus
master plans, provided cost estimates and recommendations on how the City
can implement these improvements in phases as funds become available. The
Concord Parks Master Plan document is being used by the City as supporting
material for grant applications to State agencies and philanthropic donors.
