Copley Wolff Design Group was recently hired by the World Learning Centerês School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont, to create the schoolês first comprehensive campus master plan. World Learning Center, which is dedicated to world peace though understanding and diversity, is located on a hill top overlooking the Connecticut River. Faced with a significant increase in student population and a need for academic space, the college is working with CWDG to develop a long term Master Plan for the development of future building sites and an overall campus landscape plan approach. CWDG has begun work on developing multiple alternatives. CWDGês approach is to create a memorable visual impression of the campus upon arrival, to take advantage of the views, and to organize the campus around a strong, scenic landscape.
