This LEED certifiable building serves as the Union headquarters as well as a training facility for the New England Regional Council of Carpenter's Union (NERCC). NERCC represents carpenters, pile drivers, millmen, and floor coverers across New England, so it was important that the landscape design reflect elements of the respective trades.

Copley Wolff Design Group's landscape design consists of a plaza adjacent to the main entry surrounded by lush plantings of native flowers, grasses, and shrubs, as well as a gathering space enclosed by a decorative fence and plantings.

The design employs water-efficient landscaping strategies to reduce the demand of potable water. A palette of drought-tolerant native plants was chosen and other areas traditionally covered by turf were instead replaced with low-maintenance wildflower meadows.
