John has over 35 years of professional experience in site planning, design, and implementation of projects throughout the United States. His projects often reflect sensitive design and detailing consistent with their respective historic context, while also being contemporary in their expression of traditional materials. When not planning and designing landscapes, John enjoys spending time in Rhode Island, restoring houses, and oil painting.
With over 30 years of planning and design experience, Lynn specializes in complex urban projects requiring expertise in project management for multi-disciplinary teams, multiple clients, and extensive cultural, historical, public art, and public participation components. Appointed by the Mayor, Lynn has been an active member of the Boston Civic Design Commission and is a certified Charette Planner. She has lived in Boston for over 28 years and enjoys spending as much time as possible in Vermont.
Sean Sanger brings over 25 years of experience to the Copley Wolff Design Group team. He manages projects; supervises support staff; writes specifications; provides construction observation; coordinates consultant work; reviews and coordinates irrigation drawings on projects; aids with funding opportunities; and prepares presentation and document graphics. Originally from Iowa, Sean learned to love the outdoors. He spends his free time reading, playing golf, hiking, enjoying good food and wine, and taking advantage of everything urban life has to offer.
With more than 12 years of project work, Brett possesses knowledge and expertise in various project types with a focus on the documentation and construction process. Brett’s work experience as a team member and project manager encompasses a wide range of project types including work within the public and urban realm; streetscapes and urban parks; and mixed use, retail, academic, and institutional projects. When not working, Brett prefers to spend his time outdoors fishing, hunting, backpacking, and skiing. Brett also enjoys watching college football.
Chris brings over six years of experience to Copley Wolff Design Group as a landscape designer. He has served as a Project Manager for some of CWDG’s most complicated projects. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He was honored by the BSA for the Edge As Center International Urban Ideas Competition and was also a featured presenter at the Massachusetts Statewide Research Conference Proceeding. When not at work, Chris spends his free time designing custom tee shirts, target shooting, plowing the Vermont and New Hampshire slopes in the winter, and walking his dog, Timber.
Cortney is a landscape architect with over five years of experience working on a variety of institutional and academic projects. Cortney holds a Master in Landscape Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design where she was the ASLA student representative and the recipient of an ASLA Student Award in 2007 for “Toolboxes for Learning.” For the last four years, Cortney has been teaching various advanced architectural studios, workshops, and technical classes at the Boston Architectural College. When not at work, Cortney is a devoted home brewer and pizza chef on a quest to perfect ‘Ohio Pizza.’ She also enjoys working on her home (circa 1860) and social broadcasting about landscape architecture.
Marcus is a landscape designer with five years of experience working in the A/E/C industry. Marcus is exceedingly proficient working with 3D software programs. He is well-versed in the advanced and customizable features of AutoCAD which provides him with the ability to build efficient, integrated, and customized CAD environments. Working full-time at Copley Wolff Design Group, Marcus is also enrolled in the Boston Architectural College where he will receive his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree in 2014. Originally from Texas, Marcus holds a private pilot’s license, enjoys fishing, loves being on the water, and recently picked up kickboxing.
Meghan is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture at the Boston Architectural College (BAC) and serves as the President of the BAC's student chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. After receiving a Bachelors Degree in Architectural Studies, Meghan moved to Hanoi to teach and do research at Vietnam National University for two years. The experience inspired her to think more deeply about the role of public urban spaces, especially where compact parks are used in high-density situations.
Mo has 20 years of experience as a Controller and has been with Copley Wolff Design Group for over 13 years. She is the mother of two beautiful boys, regularly plays on a softball team, loves cooking, and enjoys spending her free time in the summer at her house in Maine.
Danna has over 12 years of experience marketing professional services in the A/E/C industry. She has worked with engineers, architects, and landscape architects. Originally from NJ, Danna went to college in OH and then moved to Vail, CO where she became an avid snowboarder. She spends her free time staying active by running, rowing, and playing golf and hockey. She also enjoys painting, drawing, and photography.
Martha joined the Copley Wolff Design Group team over two years ago. Her past experience includes working for a footwear company where she supported groups in merchandising and product development as well as working in a design showroom at the Boston Design Center. She enjoys sewing and other creative projects around her home and took up flower gardening to fill her time after her daughter left for college. When the weather permits, Martha enjoys walking around the city of Boston and along the Charles River.
