Experience and Qualifications
John Copley has extensive professional experience in the planning, design,
and implementation of projects throughout New England. He has been responsible
for such diverse, engaging, and award-winning historic streetscapes and urban
design projects as the Frog Pond
on Boston Common, 20/21 Custom House Street, 390 Commonwealth Avenue,
and Lotus Development Corporation. These projects required sensitive design
and detailing consistent with their respective historical context yet are
also contemporary in their expression of traditional materials. John's notable
streetscape design and downtown revitalization experience comprises many completed
projects, and includes Stacy Boulevard Waterfront Park, Elliot Norton Park,
and Dudley Town Common. His responsibilities
encompass all aspects of community participation, office management, project
management, and design and construction observation. John's recently finished
the First Church of Christ, Scientist
Fountain Renovation in Boston, MA, and is also involved in the development
of the Sanctuary Golf and Country
Club in Hopkinton, MA.
