Location / Boston, Massachusetts
Client / Massachusetts Turnpike Authority

Copley Wolff served as the local landscape architect working in collaboration with a team headed by AECOM (formerly EDAW). The park is a multi-purpose, seasonally-changing space that helps reunify the city to its waterfront.

A grand fountain, located in the “Great Room,” is used for public use and gathering for large events. Three open lawns provide space for farmer’s markets, food vendors, concerts, and fitness classes. Additional design components include the Mother’s Walk promenade with pavers engraved with donor names, an interactive fog fountain, historic interpretation, public art, and decorative four-season plantings.
