Copley Wolff was retained to design a corporate roof terrace located on the second floor of one of the first office buildings located in the Assembly Row.
The outdoor amenity area consists of a built-in-place roof top planting system. Wind and shade tolerant plants and planters are distributed throughout the space. Grasses found in the Copley Wolff- designed riverfront park at ground level are mirrored on the roof deck, creating a horticultural and visual connection between the spaces. Decking and benches bring warmth to the roofdeck, which is defined by curvilinear precast seatwalls and pavers.
